AI EMPLOYEE FIT
The human seat never empties
Part of Result as a Service. We handed the same fifteen real agentic-AI job postings to two assistants, Claude and ChatGPT, both reading the Raza SOR record, and asked one question: how much of each job could an AI employee actually do? Their answers, unedited, are below, and they agree on the part that matters most.
What Claude says
Claude, with the Raza SOR connector and the build-your-agent skill, scored every posting. The suitability percentage per job and the lines about where the human stays are highlighted. Nothing is edited.
I’ve shared links to several Agentic AI job postings. Please review each job description and evaluate how suitable Raza-SOR, our AI employee, would be for performing that role.
Important: Do not analyze these jobs as if a human candidate will perform them. The goal is to determine whether an AI employee/agent built using the /build-your-agent skills and capabilities can handle the job.

Now let me review the actual job postings.I've reviewed the record behind Raza-SOR (what an agent built with the /build-your-agent method actually is) and each posting you linked. Quick notes before the table:
What I evaluated against. Per the governed record, a Raza-SOR worker is a text-only agent on the OpenAI Agents SDK, in Python, wrapped in a FastAPI harness, built into a container image, deployed to Vercel — with typed function tools, sessions, a guardrail, a human approval gate on any tool that changes something, streaming, and tracing, plus the surrounding discipline: delegation map, spec, governance record, and an eval suite that grades the rate rather than the run. It is deliberately not voice, not realtime, and runs no code execution by default, and the method tags every workflow step as AI (executable), DECISION (human gate), or TYPING. So the honest way to score these roles is: what percentage of each job's stated workload maps to AI-taggable steps a governed text agent can execute, with the human owner kept at the DECISION gates.
Link status. Three Wellfound postings (3829989, 4053494, 4004430) now return 410 errors — they've been taken down, so I can't score them. The last four links (workatastartup.com/jobs, the Wellfound role page, topstartups.io, startup.jobs) are job-board directory pages, not individual postings, so there's no single role to evaluate there.
Suitability table
| # | Role & company | Core workload | Raza-SOR suitability | Why |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Founding AI Agent Engineer — Allus AI (YC F25) | Agentic workflows, orchestration, tool use, evals/monitoring, prompt infrastructure; Python, FastAPI, Docker | ~60% | Stack and task list overlap heavily with the method (tools, loops, evals, harness, deploy). Lost points: vision-platform domain, Rust, and "own the architecture" — a DECISION row by definition. |
| 2 | Founding AI Engineer — Astoria AI (Wellfound) | LLM workflows with tool calling, structured outputs, retries, fallbacks, human-in-the-loop review, and evaluation loops | ~65% | The posting's "strong signals" list — traceable outputs, human review points, eval loops — is almost verbatim the record's own build rules. Deductions for ML pipelines (embeddings, ranking, entity resolution) and founding-level ambiguity. Highest task-level match of the set. |
| 3 | Founding AI Engineer — Vector Legal (YC W26) | Agent systems over legal documents, eval frameworks, OCR/data pipelines, prompt and retrieval design | ~60% | Document-workflow agents with evals and human review is exactly the shape the method produces. Deductions: TypeScript-first codebase (method builds in Python), OCR pipelines, and legal-domain correctness stakes that force many steps to DECISION. |
| 4 | Founding Engineer — Panoptive/AgentHub (YC S25) | Platform to define, run, and extract insights from agent simulations; customer onboarding and support | ~50% | Agent evaluation is literally step 8 of the method (golden sets, calibrated judges, baselines), so the domain knowledge transfers. But the job is building infrastructure and doing customer-facing work — largely DECISION and relationship steps. |
| 5 | Founding Engineer — Cardinal (YC W26) | Lead-discovery agents, social monitoring, multi-channel email/LinkedIn orchestration, multi-tenant enterprise infra, polished UIs | ~45% | The agent-building and copy-generation rows fit; the heavy React/Next.js UI work, deliverability infrastructure, and SOC-2-grade multi-tenancy don't. (Ironically, Raza-SOR is better suited to doing Cardinal's outbound workflow than to building Cardinal.) |
| 6 | Founding Engineer — Wildcard (YC W25) | Browser orchestration and scraping infra, queues/retries/observability, attribution systems, agents and MCP servers, engineer #1 ownership | ~40% | MCP-server and agent rows are in scope (your stack even carries an mcp-builder skill). Browser automation, scraping infra, and "engineer number one" company-shaping are outside a governed text agent's boundary. |
| 7 | Founding AI Engineer — Semble (YC F25) | Vision pipelines segmenting rooms/walls from noisy PDFs/CAD, LLM+RAG over building codes, full-stack React/Node/Postgres | ~35% | The RAG-over-building-codes row fits; training vision models (PyTorch, segmentation) does not — the worker runs no ML training. Fire/life-safety compliance also pushes most outputs behind mandatory human gates. |
| 8 | Founding AI/ML Research Engineer — RamAIn (YC W26) | Training multimodal models on UI screenshots/DOM, planning architectures for long-horizon computer-use agents, RL experimentation | ~20% | This is model research, not agent assembly. Training multimodal models and computer-use action systems sit entirely outside the text-only, no-code-execution worker the record builds. Weakest fit. |
| 9–11 | Wellfound 3829989 / 4053494 / 4004430 | — | N/A | Postings removed (HTTP 410). |
| 12–15 | workatastartup.com/jobs, Wellfound AI-engineer directory, topstartups.io, startup.jobs | — | N/A | Directory/listing pages, not individual job descriptions. |
The structural caveat that applies to every row
None of these scores can approach 100%, and that's by design rather than a capability gap. All eight are founding roles — the postings repeatedly ask for architecture ownership, product judgment, customer conversations, ambiguity tolerance, and company-shaping. Under the record's own counting rules, those are DECISION rows, and the method deliberately keeps a human at every one of them: spec approval, plan review, governance questions, and the first deploy all stop for the human's word. So the realistic deployment isn't "Raza-SOR takes the job"; it's "Raza-SOR executes 20–65% of the job's workflow (the build-agents, write-evals, wire-harness, draft-spec rows) while you or another human holds the founding-engineer judgment seat." The best-fit postings (Astoria, Allus, Vector Legal) are the ones whose day-to-day task lists are closest to the ten-step build loop the record already encodes.
If you'd like, I can take the top two or three and break each into a proper delegation map — step-by-step AI/DECISION/TYPING tags with the two counts — which would replace these estimated percentages with counted ones the way the method intends.

What ChatGPT says
The same question to ChatGPT, also reading the record. It gave each job a suitability and a lower autonomous share, and reached the same conclusion: a defined part, with humans owning the rest. Nothing is edited.
I’ve shared links to several Agentic AI job postings. Please review each job description and evaluate how suitable Raza-SOR, our AI employee/agent, would be for performing that role.
Important: Do NOT evaluate these roles as if a human candidate is applying. Evaluate whether an AI employee built using the /build-your-agent skills and capabilities could realistically perform the responsibilities, workflows, and technical requirements described in each job.
For each job, assess:
- How much of the role Raza-SOR could perform autonomously
- Which responsibilities/tasks Raza-SOR could handle
- Any major limitations or tasks requiring human involvement
- Overall suitability percentage
Please provide the results in a clear comparison table, with the job/company name, role, suitability %, tasks Raza-SOR can handle, and key limitations.

Raza-SOR is most suitable for supporting applied-agent engineering at Allus AI and Astoria AI. It is not currently a complete replacement for any of these founding-engineer roles.
I reviewed all 11 job descriptions, recovering indexed descriptions where direct Wellfound links failed. I also checked your Build Your Agent skill v2.0 and SOR generation 20. This assessment concerns an AI employee’s capabilities, not your suitability as a human applicant.
One important distinction: your skill guides a coding agent through specifications, implementation, tests and evaluations. The basic worker it creates is text-based and explicitly excludes code execution. It does not automatically inherit Codex’s ability to edit repositories, run commands or deploy software. Current SOR scope
For the comparison below, I assume the employee has a capable coding runtime, repository access, an isolated test environment and approved company integrations alongside SOR and the skill. These are required additions, not capabilities supplied by the SOR connection alone.
- Suitability: estimated fit across the role, including work requiring human review.
- Autonomous share: estimated responsibilities it could execute within an approved scope without continuous guidance. Final approvals still apply.
- These are judgment-based ranges, not measured results, time savings or employee-replacement percentages. The postings do not specify how much time each responsibility takes.
| Company | Role | Suitability | Autonomous share | Tasks the configured AI employee could handle | Key limitations / human involvement |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Allus AI | Founding AI Agent Engineer | 55–65% | 30–40% | Implement scoped agent workflows, tool integrations, context handling, structured outputs, evaluation cases and debugging fixes. Prepare internal tools and documentation. | Owning the core architecture, resolving unclear product requirements and establishing production reliability need senior human judgment. Its broader Rust/TypeScript/cloud stack extends beyond the documented Python starter. |
| Cardinal | Founding Engineer | 40–50% | 20–30% | Build bounded lead-research workflows, data enrichment, sequence logic, API integrations and regression tests. Draft implementation plans from approved requirements. | Continuous social monitoring, large-scale outbound infrastructure, polished frontend work, tenant isolation and security require substantial additional engineering. Outreach policies and sending permissions need owners. |
| Vector Legal | Founding AI Engineer | 45–55% | 20–30% | Implement document-processing components, retrieval experiments, tool calling, evaluation suites and failure analysis using supplied legal examples. | OCR needs an additional service/pipeline. Legal experts must establish correct answers and review consequential outputs. Long-running production jobs and TypeScript/framework integration exceed the basic starter. |
| Semble | Founding AI Engineer | 25–35% | 10–15% | Assist with text-based building-code retrieval, evaluation fixtures, API components and documentation. Produce candidate implementation changes for review. | A central responsibility is extracting geometry from PDFs/CAD using vision models. A text worker cannot independently deliver or validate that. Building-system correctness and the React/Node platform need specialist oversight. |
| RamAIn | Founding AI/ML Research Engineer | 15–25% | 5–10% | Summarize research, draft experiment code, analyse supplied traces, prepare benchmark reports and suggest failure hypotheses. | The core work is multimodal model training, computer-use planning and fast action selection. SOR supplies no demonstrated training infrastructure or research capability. Experiment design and interpretation need an ML research owner. |
| Panoptive / AgentHub | Founding Engineer | 35–45% | 15–25% | Generate simulation scenarios, evaluation adapters, regression cases and result summaries. Implement well-defined platform components through the coding runtime. | Building scalable simulation infrastructure is much broader than writing evals for one agent. Product direction, realistic environment design, customer onboarding and infrastructure ownership require humans. |
| Wildcard | Founding Engineer | 35–45% | 15–25% | Assist with MCP integrations, retrieval adapters, workflow tests, retry logic and analysis of AI-commerce results. Deliver scoped backend changes. | Browser orchestration, queues, full-stack ownership and production scale require added infrastructure. Revenue attribution needs careful measurement; generating a report does not prove commercial impact. Customer priorities remain human-owned. |
| Astoria AI | Founding AI Engineer, Agentic Systems | 55–65% | 30–40% | Implement structured multi-step workflows, retrieval, API tools, data normalization, evaluation loops and escalation paths. Prototype classification and matching components. | Production ranking/ML calibration, fairness, data quality and hiring-domain acceptance criteria need expert review. Integration and operational monitoring must be configured and tested. |
| PunttAI | Founding Senior Applied AI Engineer | 35–45% | 15–25% | Assist with retrieval experiments, review-task decomposition, termination rules, evaluation datasets and regression analysis. Implement bounded Python components. | Durable Temporal workflows, multi-agent coordination, AWS operations and image/OCR understanding go beyond the basic worker. Compliance correctness cannot be established by the agent grading its own answers. |
| Glacis | Founding Software Engineer, Agentic AI | 35–45% | 15–25% | Draft ERP/TMS integration adapters from supplied API documentation, transformation rules, workflow prototypes, tests and implementation documentation. | Enterprise access, inconsistent customer systems, frontend delivery and safe operational rollout require engineering work and human coordination. Technical strategy and customer commitments cannot be delegated wholesale. |
| SureBright | AI Engineer, Agentic Systems | 40–50% | 20–30% | Implement approved claims-intake components, policy extraction, retrieval, structured decision proposals, escalation logic and regression tests. | Pricing/underwriting rules, reimbursement authorization, fraud-model validation, fine-tuning and production monitoring require additional systems and accountable owners. Building an intake assistant covers only part of this engineering role. |
The three recovered Wellfound descriptions were PunttAI, Glacis and SureBright. Their descriptions could be assessed, but successful retrieval of indexed content does not confirm that applications remain open.
The remaining four links are directories, so they have no single responsibility set to score:

My recommendation: position the offering as an AI engineering worker that delivers a defined part of a team’s workload. Allus AI and Astoria AI provide the closest task matches. Vector Legal also offers useful scoped opportunities when domain experts supply and review the evaluation data.
For example, a credible first assignment would be:
“Given your approved specification and test data, implement one tool-using workflow, prepare regression tests, investigate failures and deliver a reviewable change.”
To establish an actual suitability percentage, test it on representative company tasks and record accepted outputs, human correction time, failures and unauthorized-action attempts. Completing a demo once would not establish that it can own the whole role.
